Within its 1st phase of sales in mid-2018, almost half of the 300 available units had been sold, with 80% of the buyers being Singaporeans. CEO Ching Chiat Kwong of Oxley Holdings Limited, the main developer of Affinity, observed that a good proportion of the new homebuyers were also former residents of Serangoon Ville, the privatised HUDC estate which was sold at $835 psf ppr in an en bloc sale. He believed that Affinity’s wide variety of amenities as well as its desirable location made for an attractive purchase.

A joint venture company for the acquirement of Serangoon Ville to develop Affinity, Oxley Serangoon is made up of Lian Beng Group, Apricot Capital, KSH Holdings and Oxley Holdings Limited (“Oxley”).
