Sky Everton has been in the news for being a hot commodity, with it selling 102 units within the first two days of its release. Across 40% of the available units sold, most of which that were snapped up were the one, two and three-bedroom apartments due to the working population who are eyeing the area. The average price being $2,250 per square foot, due to its convenience to the business district and amenities (Property Guru, 2019). It was also reported on The Straits Times last year of the announcement of the construction of Sky Everton on the en bloc site of Asia Gardens. The joint real estate development venture of Sustained Land Pte Ltd, Ho Lee Group, Kwong Lee Land and Penjuru Capital Pte Ltd was also mentioned to be named SL Capital. The developers reportedly bought the 23-storey freehold development with a land area of about 72,059 sq ft. for $343 million (The Straits Times, 2019).
